2016 Division Search for Brigada Eskwela

Eleven (11) schools in Elementary and High school Levels were recognized in the Division of Malolos in the 2016 Division Search for Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing School and 36 Teachers in the Well-Prepared Classroom Contest. The search aimed to recognize the effort of schools which displayed exemplary performance in mobilizing community participation for the annual opening maintenance activity. The Awarding Ceremony was held on July 22, 2016 at Rambutan Hall, BarCIE International Center. The Brigada Eskwela activities were monitored by the key officials of the Division, headed by the Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Amancio S. Villamejor, Jr., CESO IV. It was also participated by the Local Government Unit Officials (LGUa��s), Non-Government Organizations (NGOa��s), Barangay Officials, Civic Organizations, Alumni, other government agencies, parents, teachers and students. Among the activities are repainting of the classrooms, walls, ceilings, doors, windows and window grills, repair of desk, armchairs and cabinets. Cleaning of the schools’ surroundings and its rehabilitation were assigned to different stakeholders who experienced true enjoyment in doing their tasks. Through the overwhelming support of the volunteers, the classrooms were restructured and now in good condition.

The annual Brigada Eskwela is the Department’s version of “modern bayanihan” were allsectors pitch in to make sure that our schools are clean, safe, disaster-prepared and conducive to learning when students troop back to the schools in June 2016.
